About
Lamp AI is an on-premise generative AI solution designed to help organisations manage corporate knowledge and know-how efficiently. I was brought in two days before the deadline to address critical gaps in the project. My work included rebranding the product, reorganising the website messaging and rewriting the copy, revising the site layout with a UI designer, and developing the brand tagline and product slogans to ensure the launch met quality and branding standards.
Responsibilities
Created purpose, vision, and value statements, as well as the brand story, to establish a strong brand identity for Lamp AI.
Reorganised the product website’s messaging to improve clarity and focus.
Rewrote the entire website copy to replace poorly generated content with professional, engaging, and accurate messaging.
Collaborated with a UI designer to revise the website layout, ensuring the content and design complemented each other effectively.
Developed the brand tagline and product slogans to convey Lamp AI’s value proposition in a memorable and impactful way.
Challenge
The primary challenge was the extremely short timeframe of two days to complete tasks that would typically require extensive preparation, including the creation of foundational brand elements and a complete website rewrite. Due to miscommunication between departments, our team did not receive the necessary information to execute the marketing process effectively. As a result, the website’s initial content lacked direction and cohesion, suggesting a limited understanding of the product’s features and goals. The absence of a defined brand identity, along with missing key features and technical details, further complicated efforts to present a consistent and compelling message, making it difficult to appeal to potential clients.
Solution
To establish a clear and cohesive brand identity for Lamp AI, I began by defining its purpose, vision, and value statements, which provided a strong foundation for reorganising and rewriting the website content. The goal was to highlight the system’s capabilities in a way that resonated with corporate stakeholders. Since the original content was sparse and lacked useful information, I conducted research on on-premise generative AI and reviewed disorganised documents to extract valuable details for the website. I also incorporated key technologies, such as Retrieval Augmented Generation, to showcase the innovative technical foundations of Lamp AI.
In collaboration with a UI designer, I revised the website layout to ensure the structure supported the messaging and enhanced the user journey. Additionally, I created the brand tagline and product slogans for marketing campaigns to capture Lamp AI's value proposition and highlight its role in the digital transformation of SMEs.
The deadline was successfully met as I quickly identified the issues with the initial copy, set clear and achievable revision goals, and provided detailed instructions to everyone involved in the project. Despite significant time constraints, these efforts resulted in a professional and cohesive presentation of the product, ensuring a successful launch.
